★Positive energy★

Hi, my name is Karolina, I'm 16 years old. I live in Sweden, Gothenburg. I have this blog to inspire and motivate you and myself. I love to answer questions but when it comes to fitness and nutrition maybe you should ask someone much more qualified. :)

Like seriously, why isn’t pole dancing an olympic sport? This is freakin gymnastics. This is strength and skill. This is not sexual whatsoever. Why does pole dancing have to be so stigmatised as a sexual thing that only strippers do? I have great respect for all people who can pull this off. This is art and beauty right here.

HEY FUN FACT: pole dancing is known as something strippers do because strippers invented it. And that’s okay! It’s okay to have respect for strippers and the hard work they put into what they do! Let’s stop trying to take the stripper part out of pole dancing so upperclass white girls can do it without being ~stigmatized~ because god forbid women be sexual.

Anonymous asked: Why not care about the scale? Aren't you trying to lose weight?

fitchris25:

Think about it.

Are you trying to see a certain number on the scale?

Or are you trying to look a certain way?

Who gives a fuck about the scale. Yes, it’s a tool to measure progress. But it literally just measures your weight, the pull of gravity on your body.

If you went to the moon right now, stepped on the scale, and saw that you weighed nothing, would you be happy?

No, you wouldn’t. Because you would still look the same. Using the scale is fine, but taking pictures every month has always been the most rewarding way for me to track progress!
